My name is Amanda Mowery (commonly referred to as Mandy).

I am an Advertising Communications Major and English Minor at UT Arlington who is searching for a career as a creative professional.

Growing up in a house full of artists (one graphic designer and two animators!), I always found expression through art to be the easier way for me to communicate. For several years I have worked with children and learned as much from them as they have from me. It gave me a broader perspective about how age and maturity can really effect how we communicate. I have found it much easier to put myself in the shoes of others and see how they see. It is in advertising and design that I have found a place where these skills can thrive, and where I feel like what I’m doing is finally right for me.

I have experience making advertisements, logos and brochures for several small businesses and would like to take on the challenge of something bigger. I have proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Audition and Captivate), Microsoft Office and many forms of social media. My clients have been very happy with my work including: Kelly Massey, Angela Harris, Shelly Rhoten and Joseph Barnes, who work for (or own) small businesses and non-profit organizations.
